Dr. Salvador Álvarez Martín is a highly respected specialist in Family and Community Medicine, with extensive experience in both clinical practice and medical leadership. Dr. Álvarez Martín has a long and distinguished career, having worked in various prestigious medical institutions across the Marbella and Málaga areas. Dr. Álvarez Martín’s medical education began at the University of Málaga, where he earned his Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery in 1982. He further specialised in Child Health in Málaga and completed his Title of Specialist in Family and Community Medicine between 1986 and 1988 at the renowned Carlos Haya Hospital in Málaga. His career also includes an impressive tenure as the Medical Director and GP at Clínica del Río from 2005 to 2019, where he further honed his skills in managing medical teams and patient care.

In addition to his clinical roles, Dr. Álvarez Martín is deeply committed to education and professional development.
