Evangelos Ath. Frangoulis is a highly regarded General/Family Physician with an M.Sc. in Health Unit Management and a postgraduate diploma in Emergency Prehospital Medicine (ECAB). He has served in several prominent roles, including as the Secretary General of the Hellenic Academy of General/Family Medicine & PHY since 2022 and Deputy Chief Physician of EDOEAP since 2014. His contributions to public health extend further as a member of the National Committee of Public Health Experts (2021-) and the Council of the European Primary Care Cardiovascular Society (EPCCS) since 2017.
Evangelos has a wealth of experience, having worked as an external consultant for the World Health Organization (WHO) Europe in 2021. He also previously held key positions such as Secretary General of the Hellenic Association of General/Family Medicine (2011-2018), Vice President of the Hellenic Society of General/Family Medicine (2018-2019), and National Representative to the International Primary Care Respiratory Group (IPCRG) from 2016 to 2018.
Since 2010, Evangelos has maintained a private practice in Nea Smyrni, offering comprehensive care to his patients. A graduate of the Medical School of the University of Patras with honours, he completed his specialization in General/Family Medicine at the Hippocrates General Hospital of Athens.
